Our lives are so precious. Each one of us is unique and interesting and important. Life is most fullfilling when we are fully awake and alive, and when our uniqueness and creativity are expressed.  But this can be difficult when life has been cruel, or when one feels overwhelmed, distracted, or alone.  The complexity of living can easily lead people to a place where they are fighting with themselves, or where they feel numb and weary.

Over the past twenty years I have been inspired to find that the psychoanalytic method of psychotherapy helps people to appreciate and attend to themselves in a way that enables them to suffer less and to feel more connected and alive.  I have devoted myself to becoming an expert in this method, and to learning about all the ways that people grow in their capacity for intimacy and wisdom.
